Life deserves to be special!

It’s a massive disruption, a crazy whirlwind to take someone away from the home they’ve known. When they can no longer or decide to no longer stay in the home they’ve known, it’s a bit like a hurricane. The decision is not usually an easy one and families and loved ones should have a soft landing.

We want to try to make the process as effortless as possible for families, care-giverand and of course their senior. Recognizing these are complicated and exhausting decisions we do whatever we can to make the decision simple. It doesn’t have to be stressful or time consuming as long as you know what to look for like we do.

This is not a process that you should have to go through alone. Senior living is complicated. Having a team of support to make the process effortless makes a difference. If we can take what has potential to be a complicated, exhausting situation and make it simple then we have done our jobs. We know MaineCare and private pay options in communities off the top of our heads sot you won’t need to make a thousand calls.

Meet Shawn Shambo

Senior Living Advisor & Owner

We have helped thousands of families!

Why Shawn became a Senior Living Advisor. Shawn Shambo has worked as a traveling occupational therapist for years providing healthcare in the home. Community living was very different back then. In the 80s there were only 2 assisted living communities in the large territory he covered in his career but even then Shawn helped his clients find assisted living.

In 2005 he began to see that assisted living communities were constantly opening. This was the way of the future. At that time his family considered opening a community but with young kids at home, he instead focused on helping older people remain independent and providing home care.
